Wine Trainer (WSET Level 4) Premium & Luxury Wine

MacGregor Black is proud to partner with one of the Middle East's most respected premium beverage distributors, supporting an outstanding portfolio of fine wine, in the search for an experienced Wine Trainer (WSET).
This permanent role is based in Dubai and sits at the heart of the business's education strategy, playing a critical role in shaping wine knowledge, confidence, and advocacy across luxury hospitality, retail, and internal commercial teams.
This is a senior wine education role, requiring credibility, depth of knowledge, and the ability to command a room of experienced professionals.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-impact wine education across the UAE, supporting premium brand growth through knowledge, confidence, and storytelling.
- Deliver structured wine training programmes, tastings, and masterclasses across On-Trade, Retail, and Internal teams
- Teach and support WSET Level 13 courses in line with accreditation standards
- Lead advanced tastings and portfolio presentations for luxury hotels, fine-dining groups, and senior hospitality stakeholders
- Translate complex wine theory into engaging, commercial, and memorable learning experiences
- Develop and deliver professional training materials, presentations, and digital education content
- Act as a brand and portfolio ambassador at trade events, launches, and industry activations
- Work closely with commercial teams to align education with customer needs and category growth
- Track engagement, feedback, and programme effectiveness to continuously refine delivery
Experience & Credentials
- WSET Level 4 Diploma essential
- WSET Certified Educator highly advantageous
- Experience in wine education, training, or senior hospitality roles within premium or luxury environments
- Proven experience delivering structured training programmes to professional audiences
- Strong presence, public speaking ability, and confidence delivering to large and expert groups
- Experience working with premium wine portfolios and luxury hospitality customers
- Commercially aware, organised, and comfortable working across multicultural environments
- Willing to work evenings and weekends for tastings, training, and events
- Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial
