YouTube Videographer

Key responsibilities:

• Video production: Film high-quality YouTube content, ensuring professional execution of lighting, framing, and sound.
• Pre-production support: Assist in planning shoots, including location scouting, shot list creation, and equipment preparation.
• Equipment operation & maintenance: Operate, transport, and maintain cameras, lighting rigs, microphones, and other production tools.
• On-set direction: Provide clear guidance to content creators on camera presence, movement, and delivery to enhance visual storytelling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with editors, producers, and creators to align production with brand tone, style, and objectives.
• Trend awareness: Stay up-to-date with current YouTube trends, videography techniques, and platform best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.
• File & data management: Ensure all raw footage is properly organized, backed up, and delivered for post-production.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during shoots to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a videographer, preferably for YouTube or digital content platforms.
• Proficient with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear.
• Strong understanding of composition, camera operation, and lighting techniques.
• Ability to direct on-camera talent and communicate effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of YouTube content standards and evolving platform trends.
• Bonus: Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
