Job Description
Design, build, and maintain backend systems and applications using Zoho Creator, including admin, employee, and end-user facing modules
Develop custom workflows, automation rules, and business logic using Deluge scripting within Zoho Creator
Build and manage forms, reports, dashboards, and approval flows tailored to internal operations and end-user requirements
Integrate Zoho Creator with other Zoho One applications (Books, CRM, Inventory, People, etc.) via built-in connectors, REST APIs, and webhooks
Design, develop, and maintain custom APIs to connect Zoho systems with third-party platforms, external databases, and business tools
Manage user roles, permissions, and access levels across admin, employee, and end-user tiers to ensure data security and appropriate visibility
Build and maintain API documentation, ensuring integrations are well-structured, scalable, and easy to maintain
Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into functional system and API solutions
Test, debug, and optimise applications and API endpoints for performance, reliability, and accuracy
Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates as business requirements evolve
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience developing applications in Zoho Creator
Strong proficiency in Deluge scripting language
Experience building and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
Solid understanding of API authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT)
Experience building multi-tier systems with separate admin, employee, and end-user access
Solid understanding of Zoho One suite and how applications interconnect
Ability to translate business requirements into clean, scalable system and API logic
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English
