Job Purpose:

Support the tendering and estimation activities by reviewing tender documents, preparing quantities and pricing, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and assisting in the preparation of competitive technical and commercial offers in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and scope of work.
• Identify the project scope, technical requirements, exclusions, and commercial
conditions.
• Prepare and/or verify quantities based on drawings, BOQs, and project
specifications.
• Prepare RFQs and request quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Collect, organize, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assist in preparing material and equipment cost estimates.
• Prepare BOQ pricing and maintain pricing sheets and cost databases.
• Ensure that quoted items comply with the required specifications and approved
brands.
• Coordinate with the technical, procurement, and other relevant departments for
clarifications.
• Prepare tender comparison sheets and commercial summaries.
• Assist in identifying deviations, exclusions, assumptions, and qualifications.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of tender-related information.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and technical/commercial clarifications.
• Assist Senior Tender Engineers in final tender review and submission.
• Maintain confidentiality of project pricing and commercial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a
relevant engineering discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, contracting, or
construction.
• Good understanding of BOQs, drawings, specifications, and engineering
documents.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
