Overview:
As the Academy Head Coach at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will be responsible for managing the development of academy players and coaching staff within your age group. You will design and deliver training sessions and match plans aligned with the club's Game and Training Models, while playing a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary coaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Model
- Attend all training sessions
- Maximize efficiency in training structure and time management
- Organize training dynamics with input from the Physical Performance Coach
- Communicate concepts and corrective feedback to players
- Manage individual and team key performance indicators (KPIs)
Game Model
- Design and execute game plans
- Oversee in-game tactical adjustments and match-day dynamics
- Conduct evaluations of individual player and team performance
Academy Education Model & General Operation
- Plan training and match cycles in collaboration with Physical Performance staff
- Lead and develop your coaching team to deliver high standards
- Adhere to internal club and academy regulations and responsibilities
- Participate in events and responsibilities set by the academy or club
- Promote continuous improvement for players, staff, and academy systems
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Phase Lead or Academy Technical Director
Qualifications:
Essential:
- AFC B and C Football Licenses (or UEFA equivalents)
Desirable:
- AFC A or Pro Football License (or UEFA equivalents)
- FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Experience coaching within structured football academies
- Demonstrated leadership and team management in coaching environments
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary, multicultural team structures
- Understanding of physical and tactical development across youth stages
- Strong problem-solving and planning abilities
- Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
- Culturally adaptable with interest in Saudi football development
- Fluent in English; Arabic and Spanish are advantageous
Desirable:
- Skilled in digital tools, analysis platforms, and performance systems
- Prior coaching experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
