Responsible for receiving and verifying premises access applications, ensuring compliance with security protocols and accuracy of the visitor's identification.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify all access/entry applications, ensuring completeness accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Control public and visitor access using handheld metal detectors, baggage/parcels screening and hand delivered mail and gender specific physical searching of visitors as necessary,
- Issue, track & manage ID passes for all contractors, vendors and visitors ensuring timely retrieval and deactivation after use as applicable.
- Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc inspections of all access control devices, entrances, security incidents, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure evacuation procedure are applied and manage electronic traffic management system for access control to car park & goods delivery yard.
- Monitor CCTV and promptly respond to intrusions, perimeter breaches, security alarms.
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention Supervisors for incident investigations, lost property management, and recovery procedures.
Experience Requirement:
- 4+ years of Security or Police/Military experience.
- Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement training.
Education:
- Secondary Education Degree (12 years) followed by formal training in security or military operations.
