Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to professionally manage and maintain employee accommodation and transportation services effectively. This includes ensuring that all accommodations meet Government, Client, and HSE standards through regular audits, while also overseeing transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable employee mobility.
The role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, compliance with health and safety regulations, proper accommodation management, and efficient transport services. The manager is responsible for preparing and conducting audits, managing accommodation and transportation vendors, and ensuring operational continuity.
Additionally, the manager develops and implements emergency response plans for both accommodation and transportation operations to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, drivers, passengers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and operate employee accommodation facilities while ensuring compliance with government regulations and health & safety standards.
Oversee employee transportation services and ensure safe, organized, and timely transportation.
Coordinate with accommodation and transportation service providers and monitor the quality of services delivered.
Conduct regular inspections of accommodations and vehicles to ensure compliance with required standards.
Manage room allocation and coordinate employee check-in and check-out processes in accommodations.
Prepare transportation schedules and monitor bus movements and driver assignments.
Handle employee complaints related to accommodation or transportation and resolve them efficiently.
Follow up on maintenance of accommodation facilities and transportation vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
Prepare periodic reports on accommodation and transportation performance and submit them to management.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and emergency procedures in both accommodation and transportation operations.
Manage and supervise the accommodation supervisors and drivers while supporting their performance development.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
Strong understanding of accommodation management and employee transportation operations
Experience managing fleet operations, drivers, and transportation vendors
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and operational priorities effectively
Strong business acumen for operational and strategic decision-making
Experience in resource mobilization and logistics coordination
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
Strong leadership and team management skills
High attention to detail in operations, compliance, and safety standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven stakeholder management skills including dealing with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Successful experience in recruiting, managing, and developing operational teams
Qualification / Experience:
Education
Bachelor's Degree (any field) minimum
