Job Description

ERM Middle East is seeking an exceptional Client Account Manager to lead two of our most significant Oil and Gas client relationships in the Middle East. This is a senior role, where we will consider candidates at both Director and Partner level, responsible for driving strategic growth, deepening trusted relationships and supporting these organisations as parts of their portfolios rapidly evolve towards lower carbon and more sustainable business models.

While both clients remain highly traditional national oil companies at their core, they are investing heavily in energy transition, decarbonisation, digitalisation and sustainable capital programmes. ERM is uniquely positioned to support this evolution, and this role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering that journey.

We are open minded on background, but this role is best suited to an individual with strong consulting credentials, a history of operating at executive level and a nuanced understanding of how to work with large, complex O&G organisations in the Middle East. Candidates with existing relationships within Oil & Gas, and a track record working with national oil companies (NOCs) in the region, will be strongly preferred.

This is a Client Account Manager position, accountable for the overall stewardship, growth and performance of ERM's relationships with our clients across the Middle East. The role combines strategic account leadership, business development and senior delivery oversight, with the objective of driving sustained, profitable, longterm growth.

As ERM's senior representative for these accounts, you will serve as a trusted adviser to executive stakeholders, acting as the primary interface between the client and ERM's global capabilities. You will be responsible for shaping account strategy, mobilising ERM's multidisciplinary teams and ensuring ERM is positioned as a longterm partner of choice.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior consultant or industryadjacent leader who understands the realities of operating in traditional O&G environments, but who also brings a strong perspective on sustainability, energy transition and organisational transformation. It would not be suited to someone with only industry experience, as the role requires comfort operating within a consulting model, leading complex pursuits and building capability within a developing regional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Leadership and Growth

  • Lead the overall account strategy for NOC's, driving multimilliondollar revenue growth and diversification of ERM's service offerings across the Middle East.
  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with senior executives and key decisionmakers across corporate, business unit and asset levels.
  • Develop and execute holistic account plans that align client priorities with ERM's strategy, purpose and global capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities where traditional O&G programmes intersect with lowcarbon transition, sustainability, capital excellence and digital enablement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of each client's organisational structure, investment priorities, operating model and decisionmaking processes.

Client Strategy and Advisory

  • Position ERM as a strategic adviser across a broad portfolio of services, including corporate sustainability and climate, energy transition, capital projects, M&A, internationalisation and sustainable operations, as well as EHS, remediation, safety and digital solutions.
  • Provide seniorlevel advisory input and sponsor major programmes and proposals, ensuring ERM delivers highquality, valueled outcomes.
  • Anticipate emerging needs by maintaining a close pulse on market, regulatory and geopolitical developments affecting national oil companies in the region.
  • Personally lead executivelevel engagements, including incountry meetings, workshops and strategic reviews.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build and lead a highperforming, crossfunctional account team across ERM's Middle East and global network.
  • Work closely with Global Account Directors, Regional and Business Unit Managing Partners and technical leaders to mobilise the right expertise at the right time.
  • Support the development of regional capability and talent, mentoring future leaders and strengthening ERM's ontheground presence.
  • Foster collaboration across service lines, ensuring a joinedup and consistent client experience.

Commercial and Operational Excellence

  • Take accountability for sales performance, revenue delivery and overall account profitability.
  • Lead capture strategies for major opportunities, including proposal development, pricing, contracting and negotiation support.
  • Ensure consistent delivery excellence, client satisfaction and continuous improvement across all engagements.
  • Drive innovation in how ERM supports large, complex O&G organisations, including the expansion of digital and technologyenabled services.

Essential Experience And Critical Success Factors

  • Proven experience in strategic account management within a consulting environment, delivering significant, multimilliondollar growth.
  • Demonstrated success working with large, complex Oil and Gas organisations, with national oil companies.
  • Strong understanding of traditional O&G value chains, alongside emerging lowcarbon, sustainability and energy transition agendas.
  • Experience operating in the Middle East, with cultural awareness and a credible network across the region.
  • Ability to operate confidently at executive level, with strong commercial judgement and strategic insight.
  • Collaborative mindset, resilience and a commitment to building longterm client partnerships.
