Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients, negotiate deals, and manage relationships with clients and partners within the financial sector in the GCC.
  • Develop marketing and growth strategies while closely working with other teams, focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team with a particular focus on customer segments from mid-market to enterprise.
  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance.
  • Supply insights from merchants in the local markets.
  • Enable the regional field team to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunity.
  • Drive partnerships that create strong referral networks generating high-quality leads.
  • Inspire, motivate, and enable personal and career development of team members to promote career growth and increase business impact.

Requirements:

  • Several years of progressive professional enterprise sales experience, with at least 5+ years in fintech, banking, or payments providers/enablers.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, serving as the single escalation point for the team's day-to-day operations and reporting to the executive team.
  • Deep understanding of payments and e-commerce, particularly for SMEs.
  • Strong ability to motivate both inbound and outbound sales teams with a range of experience and skillsets.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Managerial experience is a plus, although this role will initially be an individual contributor position.
