Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on, socially savvy Account Director who lives and breathes social media. This role is perfect for someone who combines sharp strategic thinking with quick execution, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and brings positive, high-energy vibes to the team.

You'll lead key accounts—especially within the government sector—while driving impactful social-first strategies and ensuring seamless day-to-day delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership (Government Focus)

  • Lead relationships with government and semi-government clients, ensuring professionalism, compliance, and strategic alignment
  • Act as the senior point of contact, confidently handling high-level stakeholders
  • Navigate complex approval processes with agility and attention to detail

Hands-On Social Media Leadership

  • Stay deeply involved in social media strategy, content direction, and execution
  • Guide teams on platform best practices, trends, and culturally relevant content
  • Jump in when needed—whether it's refining captions, reviewing content, or shaping campaigns

Strategic Thinking & Execution

  • Develop strong, insight-driven social media strategies aligned with client goals
  • Turn strategies into clear action plans and ensure fast, efficient rollout
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize campaigns

Speed & Agility

  • Respond quickly to client needs, feedback, and real-time opportunities
  • Proactively solve problems and keep projects moving forward without delays
  • Thrive under pressure while maintaining quality

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire account teams
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive, and positive work environment
  • Bring a jolly spirit — someone who is approachable, energetic, and boosts team morale

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in digital/social media agencies
  • Strong hands-on experience managing social media accounts (not just oversight)
  • Proven experience working with government or public sector clients
  • Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to execute quickly
  • Strong understanding of regional culture and social trends (UAE experience preferred)
  • A natural team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Bilingual in Arabic and English
  • Confident communicator and presenter
