Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive enterprise software sales across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This role requires a dynamic and strategic sales leader with deep expertise in the BFSI sector, particularly in selling core banking, lending, Islamic banking, and insurance software solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong network within banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies in the MEA region and a proven track record in consultative sales, account management, upselling, and cross-selling enterprise solutions.
What will you do
- Lead sales and business development efforts for Azentio's enterprise software solutions across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) clients in MEA.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies.
- Proactively manage key accounts, ensuring strong relationships with existing customers and leveraging upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue potential.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders within BFSI organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Azentio's market presence across MEA.
- Leverage knowledge of local market trends, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards to position Azentio's solutions effectively.
- Partner with internal teams (pre-sales, product management, marketing, and customer success) to develop tailored value propositions for clients.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiations, deal closure, and post-sales account growth.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring ongoing engagement and continuous business expansion within existing accounts.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to influence product development, innovation, and competitive positioning.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a track record of high performance and revenue growth.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to achieve sales objectives.
What skills required
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a strong focus on the BFSI sector.
- Proven ability to sell core banking, lending, Islamic banking, and insurance software solutions.
- Strong expertise in account management, upselling, and cross-selling to drive customer expansion and long-term retention.
- Extensive knowledge of the MEA region, including market dynamics, banking regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong network and relationships with banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies across the region.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive market.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, including stakeholder management, consultative selling, and value-based positioning.
- Experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, setting clear objectives, and driving results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel across the MEA region as required.
