Job Purpose
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with assigned clients within the specified segment. The role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective products & solutions. The Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining customer loyalty and achieving sales objectives
Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and related issues.
- Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Sales Growth:
- Identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
- Assist in the development of proposals and sales presentations for applicable products &
- solutions in the segment.
- Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets in the segment.
Client Satisfaction:
- Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and proactive communication.
- Collect and act on client feedback to improve service quality.
Cash Collection:
- Ensure timely collection of payments from the clients and reduce overdue outstanding as
per business objective.
Market Awareness:
- Keep informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the smart metering industry.
- Provide market feedback to the sales and product development teams.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on account status and sales performance.
- Present account updates and progress reports to management.
New Business Introduction
- Identify and target new business segments within the assigned territory inline with the country smart metering journey.
- Identify opportunities across segments including, but not limited to, Energy Efficiency, Grid Modernization, Power Monitoring (Substation, Commercial, Industrial, Residential), Loss Management, and Network Planning within the assigned territories.
Build Project Pipeline
- Work with design consultants, solution architects to generate leads for long term sustainable business.
- Getting product approval and specifications into the tender documents working with consultants and end users.
Product launches
- Conduct regular presentations/seminars with customer on new product launches / technological innovations.
- Understand customer pain areas and pitch our products & solutions against the existing competition system.
