Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and CMA-qualified Accountant to join our finance team. The selected candidate will be based in our Dubai office for the initial 3 months for onboarding and training and will relocate to our Abu Dhabi office thereafter. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to support accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, journals, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and filings (if applicable)
- Coordinate with internal teams and management for timely financial reporting
Requirements:
- CMA qualification is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- UAE experience is preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi after 3 months
