Al Almiya Alhurais seeking aFinancial & Legal Accountantto join our team inCairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounting activities while ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle tax filings, including VAT and other statutory taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities.
  • Review contracts and agreements from a financial and legal perspective.
  • Manage payroll, social insurance, and related governmental documentation.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial controls.
  • Support management with financial reports and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant (legal/accounting exposure is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations.
  • Experience dealing with governmental authorities and compliance matters.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
