Al Almiya Alhurais seeking aFinancial & Legal Accountantto join our team inCairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounting activities while ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle tax filings, including VAT and other statutory taxes.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and legal regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities.
- Review contracts and agreements from a financial and legal perspective.
- Manage payroll, social insurance, and related governmental documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial controls.
- Support management with financial reports and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant (legal/accounting exposure is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations.
- Experience dealing with governmental authorities and compliance matters.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
