Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Riyadh. The Accountant will be responsible for various financial tasks, including preparing and maintaining financial records, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budget preparation. The role also involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting practices, including financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial data analysis
• Expertise in using accounting software and financial tools
• Knowledge of compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
• Previous experience in accounting roles within the water management or similar industry is advantageous
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred
