Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations, help maintain accurate records, and contribute to timely reporting and compliance. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments, using Odoo to keep our financial data accurate and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and on time
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer follow-up
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
• Support month-end and year-end closing and financial statement preparation
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and support Corporate Tax compliance
• Process and maintain accounting data in Odoo, ensuring accuracy and proper controls
• Maintain records and supporting documents for audits and assist external auditors
• Support management with reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis

Mandatory Requirements

• Currently based in Dubai
• Hands-on experience with Odoo
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
