Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in core accounting functions.
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office essential).
- Working Experience with Sage Accounting Software is an added advantage.
- A self-motivated professional with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience, familiar with trading & service-oriented business.
- Qualifications: B. Com/M. Com/MBA.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger Accounting in accounting package.
- Detailed knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory transactions with accuracy.
- Handle Accounts Receivable collections and ensure timely follow-up.
- Perform and monitor banking activities and reconciliations.
- Close books of accounts independently on a monthly and annual basis.
- Preparation of monthly Pay Rolls.
- Knowledge of making staff provisions & accruals.
- Knowledge of monthly and year end closing entries.
- Knowledge of booking Fixed Assets & depreciation.
- Assist with year-end audits, liaise with external auditors.
- Generate financial reports, and other management reports as required
