Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting knowledge who is eager to work in a client-focused consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documents.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Assist in VAT filing, tax computations, and statutory compliance as per UAE regulations.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents for audits and reviews.
- Coordinate with clients to collect financial information and resolve accounting queries.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a tax consultancy or accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines efficiently.
