Accountant

About the Role

Our client, a reputable organization in the UAE, is seeking an Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support day‑to‑day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting across all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Recording — Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and financial documentation.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable — Process invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
• Bank Reconciliation — Perform regular reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting — Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Compliance — Ensure adherence to accounting standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Budget Support — Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Audit Coordination — Support internal and external audit processes with required documentation.

Requirements

• Experience — 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Education — Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Technical Skills — Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Analytical Skills — Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
• Attention to Detail — High accuracy in financial entries and documentation.
• Communication — Clear communication skills for internal coordination and reporting.
• UAE Regulations — Understanding of VAT, compliance, and local accounting standards.
