Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the company's day-to-day financial operations. The successful candidate will have 3–4 years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role requires talented candidates able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates with previous experience in the dairy farming, agriculture, or agribusiness sector will have an advantage, although such experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely recording of accounting transactions.

· Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

· Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

· Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.

· Prepare financial reports and schedules as required by management.

· Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits.

· Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

· Visit the company's dairy farms in Al Ain as required to support financial activities, verify records, reconcile inventories and transactions, and coordinate with farm operations.

· Assist in the financial monitoring and reporting of farm operations to ensure accurate and timely accounting records.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the dairy farming, agriculture, or agribusiness industry is an advantage but not required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
