We are seeking an experienced Accountant (Dubai, UAE) with a total of 4-6 years of experience to join us immediately. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with proven technical expertise and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Language: fluent in Tagalog and fluent in English
- Minimum 2 years experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms
- Additional experience in a trading company (experience within JAFZA is a strong advantage)
- Total professional experience: 46 years
- UAE experience is a must
- Must be able to join immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records within the ERP system
- Book accruals and ensure all checklist items are recorded at the month end closing
- Perform supplier reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
- Record payments efficiently while ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
- Handle the bookkeeping of portal expenses and petty cash transactions
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments
- Support with ad hoc administrative and financial requirements as needed
Requirements:
- Language: fluent in Tagalog and fluent in English
- 4 - 6 years of experience in Accounting
- A bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- ERP experience (Odoo, Dynamics)
- Knowledgeable in maintaining accounting policies and procedures
