Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping, record and reconcile financial transactions, and maintain accurate general ledger entries in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting internal and external audits. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting tax and regulatory filings, and collaborating with operations and warehousing teams to ensure proper financial tracking of inventory and distribution activities. The Accountant is expected to uphold Pharmaoverseas.official's quality and compliance standards in all financial processes.

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and basic tax and audit support.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with finance, operations, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in distribution, logistics, or pharmaceutical sectors, and familiarity with compliance and internal controls, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Al Jizah, Egypt, with high ethical standards and attention to detail in all financial activities.
