Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Dubai. Responsibilities include managing financial records, preparing financial statements, verifying accuracy in transactions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Other tasks include reconciling bank statements, maintaining general ledgers, preparing tax returns, budgeting, and assisting in audits. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries is also required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial recordkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation tasks
• Knowledge of preparing financial statements, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Proven skills in tax compliance, preparation of tax returns, and knowledge of financial regulations
• Experience with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks or ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a plus
• Previous experience working in Dubai or knowledge of local tax regulations is advantageous
