Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant & Admin Executive who will manage day-to-day accounting operations and provide administrative support across the organization. The role requires hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting and the ability to handle both finance and office administration responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance:
- Maintain books of accounts using Odoo Accounting
- Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations
- Prepare invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and follow up on payments
- Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, and basic P&L preparation
- Support audits, tax filings, and documentation as required
- Ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with company policies
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Handle vendor coordination, documentation, and filing
- Maintain office records, contracts, and compliance documents
- Assist with HR admin tasks (attendance, basic payroll coordination, documentation)
- Coordinate with external consultants (CA, auditors, tax advisors)
- Support management with reports, data extraction, and operational follow-ups
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and admin roles
- Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Prior exposure to UAE or African business operations (added advantage)
