Accountant / Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Accountant/Software Engineer based in Dubai, with flexibility for partial remote work. The role involves financial management, bookkeeping, and accounting, along with tasks related to software development and system integration. The successful candidate will manage financial data, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the development and maintenance of software tools that support business operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
• Strong skills in Software Development, System Integration, and Programming
• Ability to work with Accounting Software and relevant programming tools
• Analytical skills and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Good communication and collaboration skills for a hybrid work environment
• Knowledge of emerging markets, particularly in Africa, is a plus
• Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields
• Prior experience in either accounting or software engineering, or both, is beneficial
