Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Trainee will support the Finance Department in daily accounting operations and gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This training aims to equip the trainee with practical skills needed to succeed in a professional accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recording journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform data entry of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
  • Participate in bank reconciliation and review of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the accounting team in audits and documentation requests.
  • Maintain organized financial files and assist in administrative tasks related to the finance department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferred).
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Saudi national eligible for the Tamheer Program.
