Job Purpose:
The Accounting Trainee will support the Finance Department in daily accounting operations and gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This training aims to equip the trainee with practical skills needed to succeed in a professional accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recording journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform data entry of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
- Participate in bank reconciliation and review of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the accounting team in audits and documentation requests.
- Maintain organized financial files and assist in administrative tasks related to the finance department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferred).
- Attention to detail with the ability to work with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Saudi national eligible for the Tamheer Program.
