Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor aging reports and maintain vendor relationships.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate customer invoices and ensure timely collections.
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Prepare AR aging reports and assist in credit control.
- General Accounting:
- Post journal entries and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare financial reports related to AP & AR.
- Identify process improvement opportunities for efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in AP & AR functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
