Trendy Career is a job sharing platform based in the UAE. Every day we publish fresh vacancies across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al Khaimah and Umm al Quwain, with a focus on low competition jobs that are easier to land. On top of that, we offer CV writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimization and career advice. We are a small and growing team, and now we need someone to keep our finances in order.

What you will do:

• Handle day to day bookkeeping and record keeping
• Process invoices, payments and expense reports
• Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE FTA requirements (5% VAT)
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance (9% regime)
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Track payments to and from clients and partners
• Prepare simple monthly financial reports for management
• Keep documentation organized and audit ready
• Flag any discrepancies or unusual transactions early

What we are looking for:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, UAE experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and basic Corporate Tax rules
• Confident with Excel and at least one accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally or similar)
• Attention to detail and ability to meet filing deadlines
• Good written and spoken English
• Self organized and reliable, since the role is fully remote

You do not need to be a senior finance expert for this role. If you know the basics well and do your work carefully and on time, we want to hear from you.
