Role Description The Senior Accountant & Tax Specialist will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting activities, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. The role includes overseeing tax preparation and tax compliance, performing detailed tax calculations, and ensuring adherence to UAE tax laws and filing deadlines. The specialist will provide tax advisory support to clients, identify opportunities for optimization within regulatory frameworks, and assist with audit preparations and responses to tax authorities. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, improving accounting processes, and supporting management with financial analysis and reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including preparation and analysis of Financial Statements and application of Accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tax, with hands-on experience in Tax Preparation and Tax Compliance for corporate and individual clients.
• Solid understanding of UAE tax regulations (including VAT and corporate tax) and related reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and Excel; ability to work with large data sets and reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Experience in a senior accounting or tax role, preferably within a consultancy or professional services environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse clients and internal teams.
