Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Egyptian Accounting Standards, and applicable accounting regulations.
• Prepare and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting procedures, internal controls, reconciliations, and closing processes.
• Analyze financial results, costs, revenues, cash flow, and project profitability, providing management with relevant insights.
• Oversee taxation, audits, suppliers, contractors, and project-related accounting activities.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, effectively distributing tasks and ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ability to independently structure and manage the accounting function, establish proper workflows and controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards even in the absence of a fully integrated ERP system.
• Ensure proper use and accuracy of data within the company's ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience; preferably within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Egyptian Accounting Standards, and accounting principles.
• Solid experience in financial reporting, closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
