Accounts Payable Accountant

In the role of Accounts Payable Accountant I, you are responsible for all areas of the GL, fixed assets, and VAT, as well as the daily follow-up and supervision of your team members and supporting the month-end closing, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations within the Finance department of Teleperformance.

You work closely with the Accounting Manager and ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information. On a monthly basis, you are responsible for delivering a reliable and timely balance sheet and profit and loss statement. In addition, you monitor and ensure that all tax filings are completed and submitted on time.

Furthermore, you support and coach the team, act as the first point of contact for team members and assist the Accounting Manager in their daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting and coaching the team
• Ensuring correct use of GL accounts (in cooperation with the Financial Controller)
• Ensuring accurate fixed assets registration
• Mapping and maintaining fixed assets in the LN database
• Managing GL accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Acting as a back-up for team members
• Handling daily ad hoc tasks
• Assisting with the month-end closing
• Monitoring and reviewing standard memo postings with the Financial Controller
• Calculating and reconciling VAT
• Assisting with CBS reporting
• Preparing cash reconciliations
• Managing and communicating the team schedule
• Handling daily ad hoc tasks.
