German Accounts Payable Accountant

What You'll Do

• Support the management of GL accounts and ensure proper account usage in coordination with the Financial Controller
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate fixed asset registration and records in the LN database
• Support VAT calculations and reconciliations and monitor tax filing deadlines
• Contribute to month-end closing activities
• Assist in reviewing standard memo postings
• Prepare cash reconciliations
• Support CBS reporting activities
• Act as a back-up for team members when needed
• Assist in basic team coordination (leave tracking, scheduling support)
• Handle daily ad-hoc financial tasks

What We're Looking For

• Native or fluent German speaker (mandatory)
• Level 1 profile (02 years of experience in Finance / Accounting)
• Basic knowledge of GL, fixed assets, VAT, and financial reporting
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured manner
• Strong communication skills and willingness to support the team
• Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn and take ownership
