Accounts Payable Director

Job Summary:

Lead and manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments, compliance with internal policies, and strong relationships with vendors. Responsible for optimizing payment cycles, controlling expenses, and supporting Golf Saudi's financial operations with high efficiency and transparency

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of supplier invoices in alignment with contracts and agreements.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for expense control and payment management.
• Monitor cash outflows and support the treasury team with payment planning and forecasting.
• Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations (such as VAT) and internal control standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to verify purchase orders and contract terms.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts payable status, aging, and cash requirements.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes related to payables.
• Supervise and develop the accounts payable team to maintain high performance and accuracy.

Role Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus).

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:

Accounts payable management, expense control, ERP systems, tax compliance, vendor management.

Soft Skills:

Leadership, organization, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail.
