Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Accountant based in Cairo. The role involves managing customer accounts within the tourism industry, issuing invoices, following up on collections, and maintaining accurate financial records
Key Responsibilities
- Issue customer invoices and ensure accurate billing
- Follow up on collections and outstanding payments
- Record daily journal entries related to accounts receivable
- Monitor and manage customer accounts
- Reconcile balances with clients and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare periodic financial reports related to receivables
- Follow up on credit accounts and payment schedules
- Communicate with clients regarding payments and account status
- Coordinate with internal departments to support financial operations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tourism companies in the same role
- Strong analytical skills to review financial data and customer accounts
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams
- Arabic and English language skills are an advantag
