Job Purpose
Collaborate closely with relevant departments on internal controls, compliance matters, audits, and necessary data inputs to ensure the accuracy of assigned accounting areas and that transactions align with the company's policies, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the accurate recording and issuance of invoices, ensuring that contractual invoices align with active contracts and that additional job invoices correspond to related costs.
- Record receipts and maintain updated Collections and Checks Trackers to ensure precise financial tracking.
- Coordinate the timely distribution of all invoices to clients, updating the Invoice Tracker on a weekly basis to reflect current status.
- Participate in month-end closing activities and prepare receivables-related Balance Sheet schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Create new customer accounts and update existing customer information to maintain accurate records.
- Continuously monitor, reconcile, and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection.
- Engage in monthly reconciliations for related party clients, collaborating with clients and team members for necessary updates.
- Assist in calculating Bad Debts Provisions in accordance with company policy and IFRS 9 standards.
- Perform Percentage of Completion (POC) calculations for energy projects, updating budgets on a monthly basis to reflect project progress.
- Provide all necessary data for interim and year-end audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures, internal control measures, and regulatory requirements to maintain financial integrity.
- Execute internal and external audit requirements, ensuring timely closure of any observations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and provide complete support to stakeholders to facilitate regulatory adherence.
- Resolve accepted internal audit observations within agreed timelines, ensuring no issues are reopened.
- Maintain responsiveness by promptly addressing emails and calls from line managers, sites, and clients, following standard finance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including FP&A, Operations, Energy Team, and other regions, to enhance business processes and drive efficiency.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline accounts receivable operations.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to enhance communication and facilitate timely payments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and improve departmental effectiveness.
- Assist in training new team members on accounts receivable processes and company policies.
- Participate in special projects as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting / Finance
- 03-07 years of accounts receivables & collections area plus industry experience will be preferable.
- Excellent Communication skills in both Arabic & English.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
- Working under pressure and multi-tasking abilities.
