Job Title: RHEL Administrator

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Duration: Permanent

Oracle Sparc, LDOM, Ansible, Redhat Virtualization, RedHat Satellite, Openshift, Kubernetes

Azure AKS, Azure Infrastructure

Maintain and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu server environments.

Administer and automate infrastructure using Ansible for configuration management.

Deploy and manage applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes, both in cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and/or other platforms like Oracle OCI or Google Cloud (GCP).

Administer and support Oracle SPARC server environments including troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching.

Perform OS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patch management across physical and virtual platforms.

Conduct system performance monitoring and tuning (CPU, memory, disk, network utilization).

Manage user access, Sudo policies, filesystem management, and system-level security hardening.

Manage patching and system provisioning using Red Hat Satellite Server.

Handle identity and access control using Red Hat Identity Management (IDM).

Support CI/CD integration for container workloads and assist in building resilient microservices environments.

Collaborate with Oracle support for advanced system issues and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with the InfoSec team to apply security policies, perform system hardening, and support vulnerability remediation.
