Join Our Team as an Agronomist!

As Agronomist you will join the SanLucar community to grow your expertise in SanLucar crops and production practices. You will be the strategic bridge between technical innovation and field production processes, ensuring our growers achieve world-class yields and premium quality through hands-on guidance, accurate forecasting, and the seamless implementation of SanLucar's production standards.

Your passion our daily business

Grower Support & Production Forecasting

  • Relationship fostering you will be the technical liaison between our Headquarters and farm managers at both third-party and owned production sites, ensuring seamless alignment with SanLucar's technical vision and protocols.
  • Best Practice Champion: you will drive the implementation of standardized, best practices agricultural techniques to ensure consistent crop quality and performance.
  • Field Presence & Insights: you will conduct regular site visits to provide hands-on support and translate field observations into actionable internal reports.
  • Forecasting Excellence: you will empower growers by teaching and supervising production forecasting techniques, ensuring accurate weekly data flow to our Product Department at headquarters
  • KPI Management: you will monitor crop development closely and communicate vital production KPIs to HQ to maintain full operational visibility.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: you will suggest agile action plans to address production challenges or deviations before they impact the bottom line.
  • End-to-End Support: you will provide holistic operational support across the entire value chain, from the first seed in the field to the final warehouse delivery.

Innovation & Trial Management

  • R&D Execution: you will oversee and track local field trials for high-value crops, including Berries (Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry), Citrus (Lemon/Kiwi) and Exotics.
  • Pilot Project Launch: you will support the rollout of cutting-edge pilot projects and commercial plantations for specific new varieties, helping shape the future of our catalog.

Requirements:

What You'll Bring Along

  • Studies: Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or similar.
  • Languages: English fluently, Arabic fluently, French fluently is valued.
  • Initial experience in technical field roles, with hands-on experience executing and supervising farming operations.
  • Experiences that will make you stand out:
    • Knowledge of fruit production and R&D/trial management.
    • Management of variety development in the fields.
    • Natural talent for Grower Support, with the ability to build trust-based partnerships with third-party producers.
    • Experience with SanLucar crops especially Berries / Blueberry is highly valued.
  • Mobility: you value temporary placements on other SanLucar Production sites on international basis as a learning and development opportunity
