Job Title: Airline Ticketing & Reservation Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Airline Ticketing & Reservation Officer with strong experience in global distribution systems and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling airline bookings efficiently, closing deals professionally, and must have a solid background in aviation and travel marketing.

Responsibilities:

Handle flight bookings, reissues, cancellations, and refunds using:

Galileo / Travelport

Amadeus

NDC Systems

Prepare accurate and competitive fare quotations for domestic and international flights.

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their travel needs and provide suitable options.

Close sales deals professionally and achieve monthly targets.

Ensure all bookings are accurate and confirmed before sending details to clients.

Manage customer complaints and provide quick, professional solutions.

Coordinate with airlines for inquiries and ticket-related issues.

Prepare periodic reports on sales and reservations.

Support the marketing team with aviation-related promotions and campaigns.

Stay updated with airline rules, fare changes, and promotional offers.

Qualifications:

Minimum 23 years of experience in airline ticketing and reservations.

Proficient in Galileo / Travelport, Amadeus, and NDC systems.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to persuade customers and close deals confidently.

Good background in aviation and travel marketing.

Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Good command of English language.

Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office.
