AIX OS Administrator to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining AIX operating system environments, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance.

Requirements
- Install, configure, and maintain AIX operating systems and associated software
- Perform routine system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and security policies
- Implement patches, updates, and system upgrades to maintain security and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to AIX servers
- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
- Automate system administration tasks using shell scripting or other automation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure enhancements
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience administering AIX operating systems in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of AIX OS architecture, commands, file systems, and networking
- Experience with storage management, LPARs, and virtualization on Power Systems
- Familiarity with IBM Power Systems hardware and related infrastructure
- Proficiency in shell scripting (ksh/bash) for automating tasks
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant IBM or AIX certifications are a plus
