AML/Compliance Manager

A rapidly growing prominent payments and technology company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer/ MLRO to support its expanding footprint across the middle east. This role is based in Dubai and involves working closely with the business to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, structure strategic partnerships, and drive the rollout of innovative financial products.

Your new role

Take on a high-impact role as a key individual on the ground, driving the company's growth and expansion in the UAE. As a strategic partner to the business, you'll:

• Support licensing processes and ensure UAE regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement AML frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with global teams across London, Singapore, China, and HK
• Provide commercial regulatory advice to the business, adapting to the fintech industry's fast-paced environment
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and driving results

As you grow with the company, you'll have opportunities to take on more regional initiatives, potentially overseeing the Middle East region. Key Requirements:

• Strong regulatory compliance experience and demonstrable skills in payments services compliance, regional regulatory management. Strong relationship with regulators in the region
• 10-15 years of experience in AML and Regulatory Compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resourceful, adaptable and flexible in a highly engaging environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset
