Job Responsibilities
Design & Creation
- Produce procedural, anatomical, molecular, physiological, and conceptual animations for MCAT and pre-medical education.
- Translate scripts, storyboards, and academic content into polished 3D animations.
- Ensure both scientific accuracy and visual excellence across all animated content
- Participate in the entire animation pipelinesketching, storyboarding, layout, animation, and final rendering.
- Create original assets as needed to support educational materials, video lectures, and interactive learning tools.
Collaboration & Production
- Work closely with content leads, medical illustrators, and instructors to execute a cohesive creative and instructional vision.
- Collaborate with project managers to define timelines, deliverables, and production workflows.
- Support medical illustrators and course designers with supplemental graphics or refinement.s
- Adapt to shifting priorities based on curriculum development, course release schedules, or institutional program needs.
Technical & Quality Assurance
- Troubleshoot rendering, compression, file format, and playback issues across platforms
- Work independently or with small teams to resolve production challenges related to animation and content integration.
- Serve as a technical resource for multimedia production, animation pipelines, and rendering optimization.
- Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with Jack Westin's evolving brand and academic standards.
