Job Description

Job Title: AP Assistant Accountant

Reports to: Financial Controller

Business Unit: KSA

Function: Finance

Grade: As per Company Structure

Location: Dammam

Purpose of the Job:

  • Responsible for E2E of P2P cycle to ensure accurate representation in financial statements, support in BS consolidation & schedules, ensure monitoring of indirect procurement process

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • AP Invoice booking (3-way matching)
  • Supplier Invoices administration
  • Supplier Reconciliation & Supplier balance confirmation
  • HO Petty cash booking to make sure accuracy and transparency for HO
  • Ensure accurate Intercompany reconciliation between branches and ASDI, HO and Branches, HO and corporate
  • Ensure indirect procurement framework is communicated to cross functions and followed
  • Consolidate BS schedules on monthly basis, coordinate with finance team members for the COC and aging
  • Lead month end closing activities for AP, WH reports, and stock reports

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain SLA for AP invoices
  • Adequate reporting
  • Development and enhancement for the P2P Cycle

Requirements

Experience:

  • Fresh grad to 1-2 years of experience
  • Previous experience in similar position
  • Previous experience in FMCG or similar industries is preferred

Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree - Commerce or Accounting - Required

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Demonstrable ability to liaise effectively and build communication channels with colleagues across the organization and With the suppliers.
  • Demonstrable hands-on problem-solving ability in dynamic environments.
  • IT literate - Good knowledge of excel and experience in ERP systems.
  • Development potential - Ability and desire to grow and develop within the finance team to undertake and successfully deliver challenging assignments.
