As the
Product Owner (PO) for the Cilantro Ordering & Rewards App, you are accountable for
maximizing the value delivered by the product squad. You translate business, customer, and growth priorities into a clear, prioritized backlog and ensure timely, high-quality delivery in collaboration with engineering, design, growth, and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
- Translate business objectives (growth, CVM, frequency, penetration) into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Balance customer value, business impact, technical effort, and dependencies when prioritizing work.
- Ensure alignment between roadmap initiatives and sprint-level execution.
- Act as the Product Owner in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives).
- Be the single point of accountability for what gets built and why.
- Work daily with engineering and design to unblock delivery, clarify requirements, and manage scope.
- Monitor delivery progress, flag risks early, and adjust priorities to keep timelines on track.
- Represent the voice of the customer within the squad using insights from app analytics, feedback, support tickets, and growth experiments.
- Collaborate with UX/UI to validate flows, usability, and edge cases before development.
- Ensure features shipped meet experience, performance, and reliability standards.
- Track feature performance post-release using defined success metrics.
- Analyze behavior, funnels, and conversion data to inform backlog refinements.
- Support experimentation (A/B tests, phased rollouts) and iterate based on results.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, Engineers, Growth Operations, Tech, and Data teams to align priorities.
- Clearly communicate sprint goals, release scope, trade-offs, and progress.
- Support leadership with visibility on delivery status and impact.
REQUIREMENTS- 3+ years experience in Product Owner or delivery-focused product roles, preferably mobile apps.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional agile squads.
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs.
- Data and tech savvy with ability to use analytics to inform prioritization and support in collaboration with the Engineering and Growth team
- Clear communicator with strong execution mindset.
- Experience with consumer apps and Flutter-based products is a plus.
