Role Summary

We are hiring for our leading banking client in Qatar and are seeking an experienced Equation Developer with strong AS/400 (IBM iSeries) and Finastra Equation expertise to develop, enhance, and support core banking applications..

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modules in Equation using EQUATION APIs (User Exits)
• Support data migration and system integrations
• Develop, debug, test, and support RPG / RPGLE / CL programs on AS/400
• Fix defects and support regression testing and production issues
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Support SIT/UAT, deployments, and technical documentation

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in ILE RPG/RPGLE, CLLE/CLP, DB2/400, SQL/400
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Finastra Equation
• Strong knowledge of AS/400 utilities: SEU, PDM, DBU, SDA, RLU, QMQRY
• Good understanding of DB2, data structures, and data queues
• Banking domain experience preferred

Education

• Degree in Information Technology or a related field
