Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Power Generation Application Engineer to oversee the technical and documentation aspects of diesel and gas generator packages for oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will ensure all work aligns with project specifications, client requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review project specifications and scope requirements for power generation packages to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Initiate and prepare technical documents relevant to the project scope in accordance with project specifications and end-user quality standards.
Review deliverables from sub-suppliers to verify compliance with project specifications and end-user requirements.
Conduct technical audits of vendors and validate the conformity of their proposals to the project specifications.
Ensure timely generation and submission of required project deliverables, maintaining high standards of accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and to facilitate smooth project progression.
Provide clear communication and technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
35 years of hands-on experience with diesel and gas generator projects.
Prior experience in oil and gas projects.
Proficiency in relevant PC applications (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and deliver project deliverables on time.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English (read, write, and spoken).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a demanding project environment.
Familiarity with international standards and quality management systems related to power generation projects is a plus.
