Job Summary
We are looking for an Application Support Specialist to manage and support peripheral and satellite systems such as CRM, payment gateways, document management, and reporting tools. The role requires a solid understanding of interfaces, data flows, and both batch and real-time integrations. The specialist will perform root-cause analysis, coordinate with vendors, and ensure system stability in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for satellite and peripheral systems (CRM, payment gateways, document management, reporting tools)
- Monitor system performance, data flows, and integrations across batch and real-time processes
- Perform root-cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for problem resolution
- Ensure system stability, uptime, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Support production releases, deployments, and system upgrades
- Maintain documentation for processes, incident resolution, and integration flows
- Collaborate with IT, business teams, and compliance teams for smooth operations
- Implement best practices for system monitoring, alerts, and preventive maintenance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in application support / satellite systems support
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements for financial/IT systems
- Strong understanding of interfaces, integrations, and data flows
- Hands-on experience supporting CRM, payment gateways, document management, and reporting tools
- Skilled in root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and vendor coordination
- Knowledge of batch and real-time integration processes
- Familiarity with databases, SQL queries, and data validation
- Understanding of regulated environments and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with middleware or integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog)
- Prior experience in production support rotations and on-call schedules
