Job Description

The Applications Manager provides functional and technical leadership of the software landscape to support business activities.

This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the users on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

The incumbent is accountable for all activities related to support, configuration, implementation, development for new solutions and training for the applications in scope.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide efficient and effective after Go-live support for implemented applications (SAP, Courier etc..), and meets agreed SLA.

2. Business process engineering, enhancement and implementing.

3. Follow standard team processes and guidelines and ensure process conformance.

4. Ensure that any newly implemented solution meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

5. Research and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.

6. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices.

7. Conform to Environmental, Occupational health and safety management system requirements.

8. Create and maintain required documentation that comply with SAP best practice.

9. Lead software engineers developing any required solution.

Qualifications & Abilities

1. Bachelor degree of Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

2. More than 5 years solid experience in ERP implementations and development.

3. Proven track record in applying best practices for software development lifecycle management and software implementation methodologies.

4. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication, and presentation skills.

6. Self-motivated.

7. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

8. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

9. .NET experience is preferred.
