Job Title: Arabic Content writer

Role Overview
We are looking to onboard an experienced
Arabic Content Writer to support the development of a comprehensive content strategy and the creation of high-quality content for a banking website. The role requires strong prior experience in content writing within the retail banking or B2C financial services domain.
The writer will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, compliant, user-friendly, and aligned with the bank's brand voice and business goals.
Requirements
Candidates must meet
all of the following:
Proven experience in content writing for the retail banking, digital banking, fintech, or financial institutions
- UX writing or microcopy experience (CTAs, forms, error messages)
- Minimum 3 years of professional content writing experience
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, including:
- Accounts
- Loans
- Credit cards
- Islamic banking
- Investments
- Digital banking
- Experience writing website content, including:
- Home Page
- Product pages
- Informational pages
- Customer education content
- FAQs
- Ability to write persuasive, clear, accurate, and compliant content suitable as per regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic, communications, linguistics, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
Language Proficiency
- Native Arabic proficiency (Modern Standard Arabic required)
Key Responsibilities- Develop and contribute to the content strategy for the banking website
- Write, edit, and update website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, regulatory awareness, and consistency in tone and messaging
- Translate complex banking concepts into simple, user-friendly language
- Align content with:
- Brand guidelines and messaging tone
- UX and customer journey best practices
- SEO
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and compliance/legal teams
- Ensure consistency between English and Arabic content

Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with Tridion CMS platforms
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, or legal review processes
- Experience in content audits and content gap analysis
- Familiarity with accessibility and readability standards
